This Tokoname Kyusu holds around 220ml making it ideal for single infusions. The fine ceramic mesh strainer is suitable for both fine and larger leaf teas.
The pattern and colouration created by the fire within teh kin makes each of these pots unique.
Made by second generation Tamamitsu craftsman Mr. Hirotaka Umehara. In 1988 Mr. Umehara established Tamamitsu Touen Co and in 1997 Built the Anagama kiln (Shiinoki kiln). Master Umehara is certified as a Traditional Craftsman by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
