Delivery, Returns & Exchanges

Delivery & Shipping:

  • Free Delivery on all orders over £60 - sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour - £4.25
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hour - £3.45

Note: Some large Items are subject to extra shipping fees. 

 

Between the 9th of September and 10th of October we will be in Japan meeting farmers and sourcing new teas. 

We have a third party fulfilling our orders while we are away so there will be some changes to our shipping schedule. 

From the 09/09/24 - 10/10/24 shipping will days will be as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday 

 

  • The cut off for Monday shipping is 5pm on Sunday. 
  • Orders placed before 5pm on Monday will ship Tuesday
  • Orders placed before 5pm on Tuesday will ship Wednesday
  • Orders placed after 5pm on Tuesday and before 11am on Friday will ship on Saturday
  • Orders placed after 11am on Friday will ship on the following Monday 

Please remember that we cannot guarantee shipping times. Once your parcel has left us we have no control over the speed in which Royal Mail delivers your parcel. 

Between the 9th of September & 10th of October DPD and international shipping will be suspended.

 

We do not guarantee that your items will arrive in 48 or 24 hours. We offer these postal services as the offer appropriate insurance and tracking for your orders.  We can not offer compensation if Royal Mail does not deliver within the 24/48 hour time window. 

 

     

    Returns

    We are sure you will love the items in your order, however, if you are not happy with your purchase we will process a refund for the items as long as we are notified within 14 days of you receiving the goods subject to the conditions set out below:

    To request a refund or exchange please email tenchateas@gmail.com with your order reference number, the name of the items you would like to return and the reason for the refund/exchange.

    We will cover the cost of returns if the items have been received damaged, faulty, or if there has been a shipping error. In all other cases, you are responsible for the cost of sending the item back to us. 

    We need the items to be shipped back to us before we can process any refunds or exchanges. 

    Please note that items must be unused and returned in the original, undamaged packaging.

    Sealed products which have been opened or any made to order/personalised products cannot be refunded unless faulty.

    Once a refund has been approved, you will receive the balance within 7 days of us receiving the returned item. For an exchange, you will receive the item in the normal delivery time.
