This kyusu was made in response to the requests for a simple and easy-to-use tea pot.

The surface has a tobikanna pattern to make it easy to hold and the lid has a smooth varnished finish. The kyusu holds around 300ml. The fine ceramic mesh strainer is suitable for both fine and larger leaf teas.

The pattern on the surface of these kyusu is called Tobikanna. A traditional method of creating patterns by hand using a sharp tool to cut into the surface of the pottery.

Delivery poor

The teapot was bought as a present and the recipient was really pleased with . I found the site easy to use for information and ordering . The packaging was excellent which was fortunate as I was out when it was delivered and it was thrown over a 6ft garden fence even though it had Fragile sticker on the box . I don’t know which delivery company was used

Hi Dorothy, I'm so sorry about how the item was delivered. Thank you for letting me know, I have submitted a formal complaint with Royal Mail. Unfortunately, we have no control of how the postal service handles your parcel once it leaves us. I'm pleased the recipient was happy with the teapot at least!
