This bancha is made from mature tea leaves that are harvested in the very early spring (prior to spring harvest) after the leaves have grown large over winter. The tea is very low in caffeine making it ideal for evenings or anyone with caffeine sensitivity. It is naturally grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
This tea has a light flavour with mellow sweetness and gentle roasted aroma.
