This single cultivar 2025 spring sencha from the first harvest of the year is created by renowned tea master and farmer Uejima Noriyasu from Wazuka, Kyoto.

Single cultivar teas from Uejima Sourokouen are both single estate and single origin meaning they each come from one specific tea field owned by Uejima-san.
This ichibancha Saeakari has a beautiful balance of umami savoury notes and amami sweetness. There are delicate buttery notes with mild tannins and fresh grassy flavour that lingers on your palate after drinking.
Steeping Notes: 5g | 60°-70°C | 1min | 150-200ml
Re-steep the leaves multiple times. Gradually increase the water temperature and lessen infusion time
