Red Natsume Tea Jar with Fan & Blossom

Natsume is a type of tea utensil used to hold matcha as part of the tea ceremony. These jars are not airtight so they are not to be used for storage. Rather they are intended to be use for matcha prior to serving at a tea ceremony or as part of your daily practice. 

It is said that the name "natsume" comes from its similarity in shape to the fruit of the plant "jujube"

• Hand wash only, Do not soak in hot water for long periods. 
• Be mindful when cleaning/drying not to use an abrasive cloth as the lacquer is delicate
• Size: approx 7cm diameter | 7cm height
• NOT recommended for matcha storage
