This bancha has been made using traditional methods. The large, mature tea leaves are harvested in autumn and left in their original shape before roasting. The tea has a lovely mellow sweet toasty flavour. These leaves are naturally extremely low in caffeine making it suitable for people of all ages.Â
Steeping Notes: 4g | 400ml | 90°C | 3-5mins
These steeping notes are only a guide. We recommend playing with the brewing times and water quantity with these leaves to find your favourite infusion.

About Kinpoen Seicha:
Established in 1953, Kinpoen Seicha is currently headed by Chisato Notsu, a single mother to three children. She runs the farm with her father, Kimio, and younger sister, Yuri. Situated in Oi Town, surrounded by abundant nature with views of Mt. Daisen on the shores of Lake Nakaumi, they are a full-time tea farm that uses spring water from "Menui," the first of Shimane's 100 Famous Waters, to produce tea in their own tea.
