Kajihara's lemongrass is grown in-house without the use of pesticides. From July to the end of August, the harvested lemongrass is sorted, dried and cut. The scent of lemongrass has the effect of stimulating the human brain as well as refreshing the body when you are tired or lack energy. It is also said to promote digestion, improve stomach heaviness, and have an anti-bactericidal effect.
Since it can also be enjoyed cold, this homemade herbal tea is popular year-round. A wonderful tea to have among your selection.

The Kajihara Tea Garden is cultivated by Toshihiro Kajihara, a 3rd generation tea farmer based in the 9-family hamlet of Tsuge in Ashikita Village, Kumamoto. Ocha no Kajihara specialises in teas roasted in an open-fire pot.
