These traditionally made Tokoname-yaki tea pots have a beautiful textured surface created with two tone red and black clay.
Made by second generation Tamamitsu craftsman Mr. Hirotaka Umehara. In 1988 Mr. Umehara established Tamamitsu Touen Co and in 1997 Built the Anagama kiln (Shiinoki kiln). Master Umehara is certified as a Traditional Craftsman by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
