Sado, Tea Ceremony Rest - Futaoku with Ginko leaf detail
This vintage futaoki lid / hishaku rest was made approximately 40 years ago. It is made with copper coated with silver plaiting.
The symbol of the Urasenke school, a ginko leaf is moulded onto the body.
The Futaoki is one of the essential items for the Japanese tea ceremony.
