A long time ago, the area that is now Shizkuoza Prefecture used to be a volcanic zone with intense magmatic activity

Since they looked like ice crystals, people of the past had thought that the quartz crystals were ice fossils or crystallised and hardened water.

In the past in Japan this quartz used to be called “the spirit of water". According to the legend this crystal had been worshiped as a spiritual stone since ancient times and it had been used in various rituals. 

Shizuoka Quartz is said to bring good luck and purification, it is  protective stone that takes away bad luck and protects against evil spirits

These stones are certified by the Japan Stones Association

Each bracelet comes with a JSA certificate and paulownia box.
