About the producer: Yamaki Ikai is a ceramic producer founded in the 1930s in Tokoname, Aichi prefectue. They specialise in both Tokoname and Minoyaki ceramics.
Mino ware, which dates back to more than 1,300 years ago, accounts for about 50% of the Japanese national market share in terms of tableware production. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the representative of Japanese pottery.
